CRM Business Suite - Filemanager

The Filemanager

 

The continuously growing of CRM Business Suite functions made the centralization of various datafile functions in one central place necessary. The new Filemanager has moved to the Menubar of the initial screen and all file functions in one place and has been extended for using also Dropbox funtcionality.

 

Now local files and your Dropbox content will be displayed within one file list where Dropxbox files are indicated with the Cloud symbol. Pressing the Cloud symbol will download the file and manage all further processes automatically.

 

You can navigate through your Dropbox folders by using the Chevron and the Back-Button.

Show Archive

Undo Customer/Meeting Deletion (Dearchiving)

 

To recover removed (archived) documents simply click the 'Into-App Action' Symbol. Since Archiving/Dearchiving is one of the most expensive activities such a recovery can run a while.



Show Backup

Showing & Restoring Database Backupfiles

 

Frequently it's necessary to restore the database from a saved Backup file. To do so click the 'Symbol' of the Backup File entry.

 

Important: it's recommended that the Restore runs only with Backup files made with the same app version ! 

 



Create Backup

Backup Database

 

To create a backup from your database click simply the 'Create Backup' Button. The database and all your work (except calendar entries) will be saved in a special directory (for later Restore).

 

Be aware that this kind of backup is local on your device. Means reinstallation of the App will remove this backup. Read our Dropbox section to learn more about Dropbox backups.



Import CSV

Import of CSV Textfiles

 

The apps of the CRM Business Suite allows to import CSV files with a specific file format for specific app functions. To finalize an import simply click the 'Into-App Action' Symbol of the respective list entry. The Import-Procedure will run automaticall in the background.



Import Report

Import of Report-Archives

 

After receiving a Report-Archive (i.e. as eMail attachment) you can finalize an the import of this report in your database by simply clicking the 'Into-App Action' Symbol of the respective list entry. The Import-Procedure will run automaticall in the background.
